<p>Mary C. Carder Jones poses with this week’s winner in the Big Ol’ Tomato 2008 contest. Jones lives off Sperryville Pike in Culpeper and said this 1 pound, 13 ounce Beefsteak tomato came from “good rich soil, a little Miracle Gro and a lot of love.” Jones said she learned her gardening skills from her father who is still active and full of advice at the age of 94.</p>
